Start the course by getting to know Julien and his passion for creative coding. He tells you about his background and some of the artists who inspire him, like Michael Noll and Georg Nees.
Next, he gives you a general overview of graphic programming and its tools before introducing you to p5.js and its easy-to-use interface. Look at how to program simple geometric shapes, followed by more complex objects using code structures.
After mastering the basics of programming, move on to working with algorithms to create grids of animated patterns, then generate compound shapes like a spirograph.
Learn how to model particles that move around the screen and how to draw letters.
